autopalet en trackjackPurchasing, sales, leasing, short-term leasing, fleet management, car imports, journey logging systems, mobility passes: Autopalet has it all. The Ridderkerk-based organisation offers the full range of mobility services. Marianne van Leening, who has been with Autopalet since 2018, is responsible for the entire back-office team.

Autopalet focuses most of its attention on leasing and short-term leasing. “There is particularly high demand for operational leasing, followed by financial leasing. We often receive enquiries from companies that own several cars and are also interested in a journey recording system. Not everyone, mind you, as there are also companies that opt for company car tax. But as soon as the car cannot be used for private purposes, the customer often already knows that a journey recording system is required.”

“In that case, we immediately go for TrackJack,” says Marianne, after which a TrackJack technician visits the desired location to install the journey recording system. Between 2018 and 2020, around 17 new clients for journey recording have been added, and Autopalet now manages more than 100 cars with TrackJack.

Commitment and service

After fitting and installation, management of the journey recording is handed over to the customer. Marianne: “However, we do remain linked to the customer’s account so that we can monitor it. If a system is due to expire soon, I’ll get in touch to ask whether it needs renewing. We do this purely as a service and to help the customer. It’s not as though we enter the mileage figures for them either.”

“We’re just really happy with TrackJack.”

Journey logging for the duration of the lease contract

When asked if there are any areas for improvement or issues Marianne encounters, the answer is short but to the point: “No. We’re simply very happy with TrackJack. If there’s a problem, I always get help quickly, which is great. That way, we can respond to the customer promptly and offer a solution. What’s more, it immediately creates a new point of contact with the customer and allows for a brief review.

Marianne uses the TrackJack online account every week. “I log in to check which systems are due to expire and then contact the customer. Usually, the customer purchases a service level for the same period as the lease contract term. This is often for four years. If the customer wants to lease the car for another year, that’s almost always possible. And then we also extend the journey registration system by a year.
