Journey logging systems provided by employers, as well as those fitted by leasing companies or car manufacturers, record all sorts of data that the law classifies as personal data. This includes, for example, odometer readings, speeds, dates, journeys and locations. It is therefore essential to be clear about exactly what is being recorded, what happens to the data and who has access to it.
Journey logging and privacy. Two terms that are inextricably linked, as journey logs contain a great deal of sensitive personal information. We explain how TrackJack handles this.
We place great importance on data protection, and you can rely on us in this regard. Your privacy is our top priority. You can read about how we handle data protection in our privacy statement.
We have a policy in place designed to meet our customers’ requirements, in accordance with standards and relevant laws and regulations; you can read more about this in our privacy policy.

If your organisation outsources the processing of personal data to an external party, data protection legislation requires you to enter into agreements regarding the processing of that data. These agreements must be set out in writing. The document setting out these agreements is known as a ‘data processing agreement’, which we provide for your use.
Please note: the data processing agreement is only legally valid once you have signed it and returned it to us at finance@trackjack.nl
It is important to establish clear agreements with the driver and to set these out in writing. The most logical way to do this is through a privacy policy. A one-off consent form alone is not sufficient. It must be clear to a driver what data is extracted from the vehicle, who can access it and for what purposes it is used. The driver may also invoke various rights, such as the right to object, the right of access and the right to data portability. We have drawn up a privacy policy for you, which you can download below.
Under the GDPR, everyone has the right to be forgotten by TrackJack. You can use the form below to request that we delete your data from our systems.
The reliability of our products and services is of paramount importance. That is why we have selected high-quality partners to ensure the data and processes are optimally secured. The data is stored by the Intermax data centre and managed in accordance with ISO 27001.
