What is a theft report?

You will receive a theft alert if the vehicle or vessel moves without the ignition being switched on. This could happen, for example, if the vehicle is being towed away, is on a flatbed lorry or (in the case of a two-wheeler) if the scooter or motorbike is in a van.

You can find the theft alert in your system’s Settings under the third tab, ‘Functions and alerts’. You can enable this and set the radius at which an alert should be triggered. The default setting is 500 metres.
Is the vehicle or boat indoors? If so, do not set the radius too small to allow for any GPS deviation.

It is important that you enter a valid email address to which the notifications can be sent.
